Target: Olay Money Maker Scenario

I just got back from Target. And there are some great ways to use the new $20 when you buy $50 in Olay Facial Products Rebate to score Olay products for a cheap.

Target

Purchase (8) Olay Foaming Face Washes at $3.50 each
Purchase (8) Refreshing Toners at $2.84 each
Receive (8) $5 Target Gift Cards
And then submit for the $20 Olay Rebate
All items FREE + $9.82 money maker after giftcards & rebate
Make the Deal Sweeter: Use as many as you can find $1/1 Olay from 10/10 or 10/31 P&G and add to your money maker total

If you are looking for additional items to purchase, the Olay Complete Daily and Nightime Moisturizers were $4.78.

Remember to “roll” your gift cards to lessen your out-of-pocket. Start buy buying two toners for $5.68 and then use that gift card to buy your next set of two items. (Unless you have your eye on something at Target and this will be your way of getting it without Hubs knowing. :) )

Hi Kelly…thanks for the great scenario. I am going to check out my local target and see if prices are the same. Do you have a link for the rebate?

Also, I found two $1 off coupons from a few weeks back but am searching the 10/31 P&G insert and can’t find them. Could your paper’s inserts be different then those in NY?

      Jennifer -
There is always the chance that different demographics have different coupons. Even without the coupons – you can still get OLAY for free and that is a very good thing. :)

woohoo! Found the coupon after looking again. It was black instead of white so I kept looking past it. I have 10 $1/1 coupons so that will make it even more of a money maker for me.

Still wondering where to get the $20/$50 rebate form. Any links to it??

          Jennifer -

It is the link “$20 Olay Rebate”. :)

            haha…just being dumb here. Must be time for bed. (O;

Heading into Target tomorrow to buy 10 Glade candles and $50 worth of Olay Products.

BTW…I think I can stack my Glade coupons, what do you think…

I have (4) BOGO…so those are coupons for 4 of the 10 candles. Then I have (2) $3/3 to apply to the other 6. It should work, right?

I also have a 8 $1/1 Tide that I would like to use on the travel size Tide. I will probably use 4 tomorrow and then 4 another day. Unless they are cool about it, which isn’t always the case.

    Hey!
Thanks so much for the information! I went to my target last night and it worked perfectly. I have everything ready to go and have a few questions about the rebate if you know the answer. :) The rebate doesn’t have 16 lines for all the UPC codes–do you have to write them all down or just write them on an extra sheet of paper? Obviously all of the receipts will be included. Also, can you do this offer more than once? I have some relatives that live in my city that I could send the rebate form from and the check to if it is only one per household. Can I use the same credit card to pay for two different rebates? It’s just too good of a deal to pass up. I would love to give away most of what I can get out of the deal to charity! :) Sorry for all the questions, but I’ve never done this before. Thanks so much!

    • Kelly says:

Mandy – I would use an extra sheet of paper and write all the UPC codes on one sheet of paper. Also, make sure to copy your completed rebate form so if there are issues on the P&G side – you have all your information.

This rebate is one per household. If you have relatives, who might be interested, you can encourage them to fill out a rebate too. And if they use your credit card, that’s fine. (But you are using a cash envelope right? :) ) HTH. Glad you were able to score some free stuff and you are giving a lot of too charity is even better.

Thank you for this. I went to Target yesterday (during my planning block! I have a serious problem.) (O:

The register wouldn’t take all my coupons, I imagine it had something to do with the gift cards coming back. But, the cashier was willing to work it and I ended up getting all the deals. I think I ended up spending $45 OOP, received $40 in GC and have that $20 rebate coming.

    Thanks again!
